Since its inception in 2000, SEMS Exploration has grown from its headquarters in Accra, Ghana to cover most countries in West Africa. Now not only a gold explorer, SEMS Exploration is experienced in diamond, bauxite, iron ore, kaolin, manganese and water exploration.
The company's successful commercialisation of mineral resources has gained us clients ranging from private investors to junior explorers and major mining companies.
Small enough to care, big enough to deliver
With offices in Ghana, Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivoire, and about 70 employees, we're a local company with a large regional footprint. We've invested heavily in our geological, technical and surveying staff because we're here for the long-term. All of our senior West African personnel have proven leadership and project-management skills, whilst technical personnel are trained to operate independently. With a minimum of ten years' African experience each, our senior technical staff always bring out the best in their teams.
This local approach means that we're more than just a full-service exploration services provider: we can offer corporate guidance in dealings with regulatory bodies and government departments, advice on taxation and financial reporting, as well as management practices.
